I just tried. I bought the Canon for $30.00 off Amazon, it's EXACTLY THE SAME CARTRIDGE as DELL. Even Dell is having problems (delay) sending me a black cartridge. Recycled cartridges have not yet hit the market. I believe I saw a listing for compatible cartridges of another printer brand (not recycled, but new) but now can't find it. Prices were significantly lower than Dell brand. I see many people question if the Samsung CLP-300 series (i.e., CLP-315) cartridges from their CLP-300 series (i.e., CLP-315) will work in the Dells, but have never seen a definitive answer affirming they will work.
