Kodak Promises: You can print more and save more.
Searching for a good photo printer at your local office supply store can be overwhelming. There are more choices than you realized were available. If you have searched on Kodak’s website recently you will notice they are making big promises about the cost of printing with their printers. They boast, “consumers will save up to 50% on everthning they print when compaired to similar inkjet printers.”
So, are they living up to their promise?
Lets take a look at the popular Kodak ESP 3 All-in-one printer that goes for about $130. This is a great printer for the price. It is easy to use, prints high quality photos, and the ink cartridges are reasonably prices. The cartridges run about $6.95 for black and $10.55 for the color cartridge. The only gripe we have about this printer so far is the color cartridge has all 5 colors on it rather than individual ink tanks for each color. We feel this is a little wasteful considering how many cartridges end up in landfills each year.
The Kodak ESP 3 produces KODAK lab-quality photo prints. You are able to print up to 30 document pages per minute in black and 29 prints per minutes in color. The printer will automatically sense Kodak paper and auto adjust printer settings to print the best possible photo printers.
Bottom Line: a great printer, with great ink cartridge prices!

trouble is that you can’t source the supplies very easily as there are not enough outlets yet.
